Local Development Plan

I am writing to update you on the Local Development Plan project and to let you know about the Council’s latest Development Plan Scheme – a booklet we prepare to give arolling update on the timetable for the plan.

The new Development Plan Scheme is available to view here or in Council libraries.

 It replaces the previous Development Plan Scheme which was published in October 2013. The new Development Plan Scheme explains that the Council has now prepared a Second Proposed Plan.

The Council has considered the representations which were made on the first version of the Plan in 2013.

You will be able to make written representations on the Second Proposed Plan from 22 August to 3 October 2014.

 The new Development Plan Scheme explains how to find out more about the Plan and its supporting documents.

It also has information on some drop-in engagement events taking place in August and September.
